Denis T. Marier, B.Sc., N.D.

DENIS T. MARIER, B.SC., N.D. is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and is a registered Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in private practice at Integrated Pain Treatment Center with an interest in Men’s Health. He has lectured on Prostate Cancer and CAM therapies and continues to do research in this area. He has furthered his clinical experience with externships in Australia and India. While in India, he did naturopathic medical relief work during the Gujurat earthquake of January, 2001, and volunteered in Calcutta at Mother Teresa’s Home for the Dying Destitute. He is currently a volunteer at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, ON. Denis has also completed training in Mind/Body Medicine and Positive Psychology at Harvard University Medical School’s Institute of Mind/Body Medicine and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. Denis facilitates “The Healthy HIV Initiative” – a small group skills program utilizing the techniques of mind body medicine. He is an active member of the Government Relations Committee with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is currently researching the role of naturopathic medicine in medical relief work and naturopathic approaches to palliative care.
